ASTRAZENECA SHAREHOLDER BLACKROCK PROTEST IN LA

Tuesday, 2nd August

In the morning, activists gathered in front of the BlackRock office in down town Los Angeles to demand that BlackRock cuts their ties with AstraZeneca and the notorious Huntingdon Life Sciences. BlackRock is the number one shareholder of AstraZeneca, as they hold over 160 million equity shares in the company; therefore, they have a significant amount of pull in the company. That is why BlackRock has become the focal point of animal rights activists in Los Angeles.

The demonstration got started at 8:30am when 12 activists marched up to the front of the BlackRock office equipped with megaphones giving BlackRock and other tenants of the building a proper wake up call as they walked into the lobby still drinking their coffee and removing the sleep from their eyes. Employees were let in one at a time while activists stood by reminding the BlackRock employees that as long as they do business with Huntingdon Life Sciences they are culpable for the torture and death of 500 animals each and every single day of the week.

BlackRock, now that Fortress Investment Group has dropped Huntingdon Life Sciences you and AstraZeneca are the number one targets of this campaign. We encourage you to reevaluate your financial decisions and cut all of your ties with AstraZeneca and HLS. Huntingdon Life Sciences has been kicked off of the New York Stock Exchange, and companies such as HSBC, Charles Schwab, and just a few weeks ago Fortress Investment Group have all cut their ties with HLS because of the unrelenting pressure of this campaign.

Cut your financial ties to HLS or deal with our momentum.

UNTIL EVERY CAGE IS EMPTY AND HUNTINGDON IS SHUT DOWN!
