ASTRAZENECA & THEIR COLLABORATORS HAVE MORE PROTESTS IN LA

Saturday, 27th August

In solidarity with, and to finish off the August's AstraZeneca Attack Global Week of Action against AstraZeneca, activists took the streets of Los Angeles making Saturday another powerful day of demos against AstraZeneca and BlackRock.

First stop was Victoria Carrington's neighborhood, an EVP at Aptium Oncology, one of AstraZeneca's subsidiaries. Activists shouted and marched around the quiet suburbs to ensure everyone on her block knew what scum of a company Carrington works for. Luckily, it was a very hot day in Los Angeles which guaranteed the neighbors and Carrington heard protestors loud and clear through their wide open windows. Many neighbors were very supportive and agreed with us addressing the animals' grievances with Carrington. Activists promised their continual return until AstraZeneca pulls out.

Next activists visited Linda Arnette's neighborhood, a Director at BlackRock, Inc. Many people were out and about on Arnette's street and were exposed to the kind of "science" that BlackRock invests in. One person even popped their head out the window to cheer on the protests and told us of their disgust with Arnette as a "lousy neighbor". Pamphlets explaining more about BlackRock and Arnette's ties to AZ and HLS were distributed to each and every household, so if neighbors weren't home to experience the protest they could read about it later. Activists will not back down until BlackRock cuts their bloody ties with AZ and HLS.

Finally, activists finished the day with Charles Carr's neighborhood, a Sales Representative for AstraZeneca. Activists marched down Carr's street educating neighbors of Carr's ties with one of the most notorious and heinous vivisection labs in the world. Pictures of the innocent beagle dogs, cats and primates tortured inside HLS were shown to curious neighbors who came out of their houses to listen to us. Overall, it was a great day of naming and shaming animal abusers like Carr and activists will continue to visit their neighborhoods until all ties are cut and these employees' hands are clean.

UNTIL EVERY CAGE IS EMPTY AND HUNTINGDON IS CLOSED FOR GOOD!
