MORE HLS CUSTOMER DEMOS IN DC

In solidarity with the week of action against AstraZeneca, DC activists deployed for early morning meet 'n' greet demos. After showing up at AstraZeneca, Bayer and Sanofi-Aventis, animal rights activists brought loud bullhorns to the lobby of Nomura.

Upon arrival at Astrazeneca, Security guards were able to make it outside and block protesters entrance inside the building to remind Astrazeneca that they will get no rest in DC until they sever their ties with HLS. Speakouts explained to AZ employees that their employer has been uncovered taking out life insurance policies on their employees without the employees knowledge. This practice is called "peasant insurance" and that their employer, Astrazeneca is actually banking on employees death, just like they are banking on the deaths of 500 animals each and everyday inside HLS.

After about a half hour, activists moved on to Sanofi-Aventis, another top customer of Huntingdon Life Sciences. Security once again followed activists to this location which is just around the corner at the neighboring office building. Nothing really happened of note, but like always, passersby showed their support for DC activists putting pressure on big pharma and cutting their ties with puppy punching Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Activists then moved on to Nomura, who are one of the top shareholders in Fortress, the financial lifeline of Huntingdon Life Sciences. DC activists haven't been there in a while, so security guards were not prepared and taking advantage, ativists walked into the lobby and reminded Nomura to drop their shares in Fortress like a bad habit. Notice was served to Nomura, that as a financial investment company they will have protests and disruptions like this one to look forward to, when they continue to invest in or are involved with animal exploitation and murder. Vivisection is nothing to support and they should invest in ethical companies such as Pharmagene who are developing sound science which does not involve other-than-human animals. The AstraZeneca week of action is going to continue in DC. There is no rest for the wicked!
