VIVISECTION INDUSTRY SUPPLIERS AND ASTARZENECA HAVE PROTESTS

Saturday, 26th February

Activists in the North started their day at different sites of Harlan in Belton, Loughborough and Shardlow, Derbyshire as part of a day of action against these disgusting animal lab breeders. Before moving onto a site belonging to Nottingham Uni where animal experiments are carried out, with activists getting into their experimental pig units.

Last of all we visited AstraZeneca R&D site in Loughborough. They were clearly expecting a visit with gates closed firmly shut, workers ushered into buildings and guards stood pondering when we'd turn up! Chants echoed around the site and the Saturday skeleton staff had to put up with going home late. As part of AstraZeneca's UK cutbacks, this vivisection lab is being closed down with workers being laid off and finding it hard to get a proper job that doesn't involve torturing and abusing animals.

We will never give up on the animals inside these hell holes, until all are free!
