Thursday, 21st July

In our so-called 'civilised' society you would think that animal abusing companies like HLS wouldn't exist, except for the overriding profiteering of these companies and the colluding governments that allow the abuse and torture to continue. Think what the world could be like where we all respected ALL life?

Unfortunately, we're not quite at that stage yet. So it was time for another round of demos in the city against AstraZeneca's shareholders, who help pump in finance to the vivisection industry. An industry that abuse and murder millions of innocent animals and hundreds of thousand humans - all for profit - because illness and fear are such a money maker. There would be little profit to make from actually curing disease, a healthy population wouldn't need the continued drip, drip of the latest 'new', 'improved', 'miracle cure' or 'wonder drug' that the marketing spin doctors of the pharmaceutical industry dream up. And hidden behind these false promises are the real victims, in their millions, incarcerated in places like HLS.

So for them we will continue to fight and get the message out, that might is not right and while HLS and other death camps are still standing. We will not forget these countless victims, crying out for justice, freedom from pain and violence.

We started off the day outside Axa Investment Managers, at 7 Newgate Street as AXA are a large investor in AstraZeneca, a major customer of HLS who continue to pay blood money to HLS to torture yet more animals. We had a loud and focused protest, with much interest as usual from the passing public.

We then moved a few blocks away east to Legal & General who are also a major shareholder of AstraZeneca. Again, our message was heard by L&G, the neighbouring offices and the passing public during our protest their.

Last place of the day was to another AXA, this time their UK HQ at 5 Old Broad Street, near Bank. Where once again we had another loud protest outside their offices. While the security tried to shut out the truth of AXA's financial involvement in animal abuse at HLS, with their funding of AstraZeneca we will not stop naming and shaming these unethical companies and making everyone aware of their duplicity in the deaths of millions of animals and thousands of humans. Until all are free, so must we fight.
