Thursday, 24th March

Continuing our SHAC tour east, activists went to Berkshire where we began the day by heading to Bayer (Bayer House, Strawberry Hill, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 1JA), a customer of HLS with a long history of bad practice - remember IG Farben?

With loud announcements of Bayer's unethical practices echoing throughout the quiet neighbourhood, much to their embarassment, and leaflets distributed to all their visitors, Bayer were left in no doubt that we will continue to name and shame them until they develop some morals and stop supporting deplorable companies.

Following on from this we made our way to ThermoFisher Scientific (Bath Road, Reading, Berkshire, RG5 7PR), who make and supply laboratory equipment to HLS.

Upon arrival, the silence of the quiet industrial estate was broken with our revelations of Thermo's disgusting involvement with the vivisection industry.

After a few minutes one of the company executives came out to speak to us, clearly concerned about the exposure of their company's dirty secret.

Eventually, after ensuring that they all knew exactly why they continue to be a target, we left - with promises to return again soon if they continue to supply torture equipment to Huntingdon and aid them in the murder of 500 innocent individuals every single day.
