PRIMATE LIBERATION WEEK KICKED OFF WITH BLACKROCK DEMOS IN LA

Thursday, 13th October

In the United States, and many times observed internationally, a entire week in mid-October is designated to the primates (National Primate Liberation Week). Los Angeles activists stood in solidarity with others around the nation to hold primate killers accountable and exposed those who make the killing possible. Our focus: BlackRock Incorporated, the top shareholder of AstraZeneca.

Once again, BlackRock was faced with activists outside their office and inside their complex -- naming, shaming and exposing BlackRock for the scum company they are. Not only does BlackRock currently conduct business with animal abusers, but a past campaign was waged against them for investing in Leviev's Africa-Israel Investments, a company known for human rights violations against Palestinians. BlackRock, you sure do have a shoddy reputation! And as long as you hold shares in AstraZeneca, your reputation will only get worse.

Activists toured California Plaza with megaphones and made sure everyone enjoying a cocktail after the eight hour day was confronted with the reality of BlackRock's investments. In addition, a large Occupy LA protest consisting of worker's, unions and those fed up with corporate greed marched in front of the Plaza and through the financial district. Many were supportive of the campaign to shut down HLS and chanted "An injury to one, is an injury to all!"

The easy and most sensible decision to make is to sell your shares and drop AstraZeneca. Clear your name and clean your hands of the 500 deaths of innocent animals killed inside HLS. Until you do, activists stand strong and fight hard.

UNTIL EVERY CAGE IS EMPTY AND HUNTINGDON IS SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD!
