Friday, 7th October

As activists were near Paddington in London, they couldn't waste another oportunity to name and shame AstraZeneca for their continued use and support of animal torture at HLS and being part of the vivisection industry who put nearly 200,000 poeple in coffins across Europe every year.

Activists walked into AstraZeneca's global headquarters on the 7th-9th floors of 2 Kingdom Street, Paddington, London, W2 6BD. (Tel: +44 (0)20 7604 8000). With protestors chanting from the 'Reflecting Pool' of the Atria reception area of the building which is a huge void going right up to the top of the building giving very good acoustics for loud chanting which echoed around the building with "AstraZeneca animal abuser, AstraZeneca animal torturer".

At the same time using one of the six lifts, a protestor went up to the 9th floor to confront the animal abusers directly and remind them that we will never stop or back down while they continue to torture animals and kill people.

After a while activists were shown the exit by the security and left. Rest assured we will turn up when you least expect us, for until the animals are free there will be no rest for the wicked.
