ASTRAZENECA SHAREHOLDER, AXA HAVE MORE PROTESTS IN BRISTOL

Wednesday, 11th April

It’s was a sunny afternoon as activists gathered in Bristol to have a noisy demo outside of Spectrum House, one of the sites of AXA’s offices in the city. They were there to protest at the shocking ties the company continues to have with the vivisection industry and Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Activists held placards reading 'AXA Profit from Animal Torture in HLS'. As the megaphone was used to ensure all the members of the public close by as well as people in the other nearby offices were well aware of AXA’s flawed ethical stance by investing in AstraZeneca whilst presenting the ethical image of not investing in HLS. This behaviour doesn’t fool anyone.

The demo then continued at AXA’s other offices just around the corner at Marlborough House, Marlborough Street, Bristol, BS1 3NX.
