Friday, 13th April

On Friday protesters took a rather pleasant train journey to Lower Sydenham in South London, where a company called Henderson Biomedical continue to be implicated in the torture and murder of innocent animals at Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Henderson Biomedical Ltd, Worsley Bridge Road, Lower Sydenham, London, SE26 5AZ - Tel: +44 (0)20 8663 4610 is responsible for supplying and maintaining the centrifugal equipment inside HLS. They are well aware of the cruel practices employed on a daily basis by this notorious, animal abusing company.

What dingy, run down premises Henderson's have! HLS must be really scraping the barrel using a company that clearly doesn't have 2 pennies to rub together. Looking on line at Henderson's accounts is quite revealing, they're not worth much and their assets would be totally depleted if they brought their premises up to scratch. Lol.

So they are probably desperate to take money off anyone, including a company such as HLS, which has been shunned or ditched by any self respecting organisation.

Protesters spoke and chanted on megaphones for about an hour and left no doubt in the minds of Henderson's neighbours, as to the dirty, bloody business they profit from; the murder of 500 animals every day.

We enjoyed our journey into South London and we will continue to visit Henderson's until they gain some compassion or common sense and cut their ties with HLS.

We boarded the train back into London and made our way to BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited, Drapers Gardens, 12 Throgmorton Avenue, London, EC2N 2DL - Tel: 020 7743 3000 and 0800 282 490.

What a contrast to the building we had just visited in south London, although what both companies have in common, is that they are both willing to be associated with a company that has been caught red handed abusing the animals in their care.

As usual, on our arrival the security men scuttled into their well rehearsed actions of: locking all doors and taking up positions of: camera man, recording man and note taking man!

For approximately an hour we shouted and chanted, alerting the passing public, as well as office blocks around us, to the fact that Blackrock have blood on their hands; the blood of animals sacrificed on the alter of greed and profit.

We hope that all the people working at these 2 companies realise that they are drawing a salary that has been paid for in the blood of animals that have died an excruciating death.

We will be back to remind them of that fact. Enjoy spending your blood money while you can!
