Friday, 1st June

Once we met outside Bank tube Station., armed with placards, banner and leaflets, we made our way to Axa's UK HQ (5 Old Broad Street, London, EC2N 1AD, Tel: 020 7920 5900) where we humiliated them with loud monologues and chants about their despicable investment in AstraZeneca, naming and shaming them for profiting off animal cruelty at HLS.

After one hour protesting outside Axa, we moved to BlackRock (Drapers Gardens, 12 Throgmorton Avenue, London, EC2N 2DL, Tel: 020 7743 3000 and 0800 44 55 22) just three minutes walking from Axa. BlackRock, an investment company with no principles and morals, with no ethical investment policy, where the arms and vivisection industries are welcome as long as they make money. As usual we were filmed by the submissive security staff. Outrageous, real terrorists investing in cluster bombs and animal torture filming peaceful activists!

After a wonderful break having vegan goodies, we regained strength and went to Legal & General Investment Management at 1 Coleman Street, London EC2R 5AA (Tel: 020 3124 3000 and 0800 027 7169), another discredited company, which also invest in cluster bombs and vivisection.
Legal and General publish on their website: “We encourage an open and honest culture and will not tolerate acts of financial crime including fraud or dishonesty, money laundering, market abuse, bribery and corruption. If you have any concerns of this nature please contact the Legal & General Whistleblowing hotline 0800 0725281.”

Legal and General, you won’t get away with murder. You know you don’t do the right thing. You know you don’t care about ‘Ethical behaviour’ and we will stand up and tell the truth about your dirty business until you sell your shares in AstraZeneca and stop dealing with the vivisection industry.

Deal with HLS, deal with SHAC!

Today’s protests were made in solidarity with Camille Marino (founder and director of Negotiation Is Over), a passionate and uncompromising animal activist, who while attending a peaceful anti-vivisection demonstration in February, was arrested on charges related to her campaign against notorious vivisectionist, Donal O’Leary, an animal experimenter at Wayne State University in Michigan.
